Our apartments at Ca’ Mazzega are ideally positioned for visiting the Historic Centre of Venice and all the most beautiful islands of our Lagoon and can be easily accessed by those arriving in Venice by plane, train, car and cruise ship.
Located directly in front of the ACTV MURANO VENIER water bus stop, the Ca’ Mazzega apartments are incredibly convenient to access by public transport.

HOW TO REACH US

BY AIR | MARCO POLO AIRPORT VENICE

For those arriving from Venice’s MARCO POLO airport, it is very easy to reach Ca’ Mazzega by taking the ALILAGUNA ROSSA water bus line (running from 1 April to 31 October) to arrive in just 20 minutes or so and by getting off at the first stop, called MURANO MUSEO. Walk to your left along the Fondamenta Venier to no. 30; we are about 300 metres from the stop. The ALILAGUNA BLU water bus line on the other hand operates all year round and by getting off at the first stop, called MURANO COLONNA, you can reach us on foot in about 10 minutes or you can take the ACTV Circle Line No. 4.2 water bus to the MURANO VENIER stop located right in front of our apartments. The cost of the ALILAGUNA ticket is EUR 8.00 per person one-way or EUR 15.00 per person return; tickets can also be purchased online (https://www.alilaguna.it).

BY PLANE | ANTONIO CANOVA DI TREVISO AIRPORT

For those arriving from the Treviso ANTONIO CANOVA airport, an ATVO shuttle bus service will take you to the PIAZZALE ROMA VENEZIA terminal in about 45 minutes at a cost of €12.00 per person (https://www.atvo.it/). From the Piazzale Roma it is best to take the ACTV Direct Line No. 3 water bus, which allows you to reach our flats in just 25 minutes. Alternatively, you can also take the ACTV Circle Line No. 4.2 water bus, which takes about 45 minutes to reach the MURANO VENIER stop right in front of our apartments at Ca’ Mazzega.

BY TRAIN | SANTA LUCIA TRAIN STATION

From the Venice SANTA LUCIA railway station, taking the ACTV Direct Line No. 3 water bus you can reach our apartments in just 20 minutes, we are right in front of the MURANO VENIER stop. If the Direct Line No. 3 is no longer running, you will have to take the ACTV Circle Line No. 4.2 water bus, which takes about 40 minutes to reach the MURANO VENIER stop where we are (https://actv.avmspa.it/).

BY CAR | PIAZZALE ROMA (CAR TERMINAL)

For those arriving in Venice by bus or car from PIAZZALE ROMA, it is also preferable to take the ACTV Direct Line No. 3 water bus, which allows you to reach our apartments in just 25 minutes. Alternatively, you can also take the ACTV Circle Line No. 4.2 water bus, which takes about 45 minutes to reach the MURANO VENIER stop right in front of our flats at Ca’ Mazzega.

FROM THE PORT OF VENICE | CRUISE TERMINAL

For those staying at Cà Mazzega after finishing a Cruise, the easiest and quickest way to get to our apartments is by using the PEOPLE MOVER (Fast Shuttle Train), which connects the Cruise Terminal at the Port of Venice with the Piazzale Roma in just 5 minutes. From here, and with the same ACTV ticket, you can always reach us by using the ACTV Direct Line No. 3 and Circle Line No. 4.2 boat lines.

PARKING

For those arriving in Venice by car, the most comfortable and convenient car park is the MARCO POLO CAR PARK at Venice Airport, from which you can get to our apartments at Ca’ Mazzega within about 20 minutes by using the ALILAGUNA ROSSA and ALILAGUNA BLU water bus lines (see section “FROM THE AIRPORT”). Alternatively, it is also possible to park at the GARAGE SAN MARCO car park in PIAZZALE ROMA or at CAR PARKING TRONCHETTO on the Isola Nuova in Tronchetto. However, the most advantageous option remains the one at the airport.

PRIVATE WATER TAXIS

This is certainly the most convenient way to reach us, but also by far the most expensive: from Venice Airport, the railway station and Piazzale Roma, the cost for a Private Water Taxi is actually about 90.00 euro for a journey of just 20 minutes, though it allows you to alight comfortably right in front of our apartments.

USEFUL INFORMATION

We always advise our guests staying at the Ca’ Mazzega apartments to purchase a 48-hour, 72-hour, or 7-day cumulative ticket, depending on the length of their stay, either on their arrival or before setting off, directly from home, via the ACTV Venice, the public navigation service company, website so as to save on the cost of water transport in the lagoon. This type of ticket makes it easy to travel between the islands of Venice and includes journeys to visit BURANO and TORCELLO, which take about 30 minutes from Ca’ Mazzega, or the wonderful Lido di Venezia beach, which is only a 10-minute trip from Murano. Our advice is always to consult the ACTV, ALILAGUNA, ATVO and MARCO POLO CAR PARK websites to take advantage of any available offers and cumulative tickets to make your visit to the City of Venice and your stay with us more comfortable and easier.

SUPERMARKETS

For food shopping, the nearest supermarket is the COOP, located at Fondamenta Rivalonga No. 27, some 300 steps from our building.
Leaving the entrance, walk along the fondamenta that runs alongside the Canale degli Angeli, past the Ponte Longo bridge, towards the ACTV Murano Museo stop; the COOP is located about 50 steps before the boarding pier.

You can also shop at the DESPAR supermarket located at Fondamenta dei Vetrai No. 14. To reach it, cross the Ponte Longo and walk along the fondamenta on the left towards the ACTV Murano Colonna stop; the DESPAR is located about 50 steps before the embarkation pier.
